Sharon Showalter

Specializes in integrated modeling with a special emphasis on climate policies, environmental regulations, and the electric power sector.

Ms. Showalter has over 35 years of experience in data analysis, computer modeling, and project management focused on analyzing energy and environmental policies with a special emphasis on U.S. climate mitigation policies and the electric power sector.

She currently manages projects and provides energy and environmental modeling expertise to government and non-government clients using the National Energy Modeling System (NEMS) model. Ms. Showalter received an A.B. from Dartmouth College (cum laude) and an M.S. in Energy Management & Policy from the University of Pennsylvania.
